First, what Otterly.AI is good at
The cheapest genuine way into this category, and the only one that prices every upgrade individually — you can start at $29 and add exactly the assistant you care about for $9. If you track a small number of questions and want to see them across Copilot and Perplexity rather than the three big assistants, nothing here is better value.
Otterly is priced like a utility rather than a platform, and that is its real advantage: $29 buys four assistants, and each further one has a printed price beside it instead of a sales call. Very few vendors in this category will tell you what an upgrade costs before you are a customer.
The thing to check before you commit is the prompt-slot arithmetic, because it is unusual. A slot is consumed per prompt per country, so a brand tracking ten questions in the US and the UK is not using ten of its fifteen slots, it is using twenty. Their own help pages spell this out; it is the number that decides whether the entry tier fits you.
You can read all of that on their own pricing page, which is where the figures below came from.
Otterly.AI and Mentionify,
on what each one publishes
Not a feature checklist — the rows a buyer argues about after the first invoice. What Otterly.AI meters at the entry price: 15 prompt slots — and one slot per prompt per country, so tracking one question in three markets spends three. Lite cannot buy extra prompts.

| Full coverage, and what it costs | Seven, and the extras are priced: Google AI Mode +$9/mo, Gemini +$9/mo, Claude +$29/mo on Lite. | Those three, and no others. We do not measure Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek or Meta AI — the pipeline asks the three assistants directly and there is no page-scraping path in it. |
| What the entry price meters | 15 prompt slots — and one slot per prompt per country, so tracking one question in three markets spends three. Lite cannot buy extra prompts. | A credit bucket, not a prompt cap: 350 credits a month on the entry plan, spent as you choose. One check is one topic on one assistant — Gemini 1 credit, ChatGPT 2, Claude 3. |

Where the Otterly.AI figures come from. Read on August 10, 2026 from their own public pages — pricing, product and help centre — never from a review site or from anyone’s comparison page, ours included. A cell reading “not published” is something Otterly.AI does not state anywhere, and we have not signed up for their product, so every claim about how it behaves is their own description of it. Check a price before you rely on it. Sources: the $29 Lite price, the tier ladder and the annual toggle; the per-country prompt-slot rule and the paid assistant add-ons.
What $29 actually buys,
on both sides.
The cheapest route to ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude is theirs, not ours.
Otterly.AI — Lite, $29/mo
- Four assistants included: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Microsoft Copilot.
- Gemini is a $9/mo add-on and Claude a $29/mo add-on on Lite — so ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude together comes to $67/mo at their published prices, with Perplexity, AI Overviews and Copilot still in the box.
- 15 prompt slots, and a slot is spent per prompt per country: one question tracked in three markets uses three of the fifteen.
- Lite cannot buy extra prompts. The next tier up is Standard at $189/mo.
- Unlimited seats. Full answer text, CSV/JSON export and an API are all on the published tiers.
Mentionify — Micro, $99/mo
- The same three assistants, with nothing to add on: ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude are on every paid plan.
- 350 credits a month, spent as you like. One topic on one assistant is one check — Gemini 1 credit, ChatGPT 2, Claude 3 — so all three on one question costs 6.
- That works out to roughly 13 questions a week on all three, or about 4 questions every day on Gemini and ChatGPT.
- A credit is not tied to a country, so the same question in three markets is three checks and not a permanent claim on a slot.
- Unlimited seats, projects and tracked competitors. XLSX export on every plan.
Where this lands against us. Read those two columns and Otterly wins the price argument outright. $67 against $99 for the same three assistants, and they hand you three more surfaces on top. If reaching ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude on a short list of questions is the entire job, buy theirs — we would rather say so here than have you work it out after the first invoice. Where the arithmetic turns is frequency and geography: fifteen slots that cannot be topped up, and a slot consumed per country, is a hard ceiling, while 350 credits is a budget you can spend on asking fewer questions far more often.
Who should buy Otterly.AI,
and who should buy us.
Buy Otterly.AI if
- The smallest budget in this category that still buys a real, working product rather than a trial.
- Anyone who needs Perplexity, Google AI Overviews or Microsoft Copilot — we do not measure any of the three.
- Buyers who want every upgrade to carry a printed price instead of a sales call. Almost nobody else in this category does that.
Buy Mentionify if
- Anyone tracking one question across several countries, where a per-country prompt slot becomes the binding constraint rather than the budget.
- Teams that would rather ask fifteen questions daily than fifty questions occasionally — credits move that dial, a fixed slot count does not.
- Anyone who wants the score broken into five named dimensions and every competitor domain verified against the live web before it can key a row.
Where we are different
The overlap is small. Otterly is the better buy if you want Perplexity, Copilot or AI Overviews coverage cheaply; we do not measure those surfaces at all. We are the better fit if the three assistants your buyers actually open are ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, and you want all three from the first paid month rather than as add-ons — and if you would rather see the whole answer and the evidence behind every competitor on the board than track more surfaces shallowly.
Wider than Otterly.AI and us? The ten-tool comparison is ordered by entry price. Deeper? The methodology and the score.
